Kyle Finnegan Throws an Immaculate Inning

9 pitches, 9 strikes, 3 strikeouts.

Kyle Finnegan threw an immaculate inning in the 6th inning tonight against the Braves. It is the fifth immaculate inning in Nationals history. The last pitcher to do so was Stephen Strasburg on July 3, 2019.

The immaculate inning is a rare feat in baseball, this was only the 102nd in MLB history. To put that in perspective, on the same day John Means threw the 307th no-hitter in MLB history.
